Walnut-Apple Cookies

 Ingredients: 

220 g all-purpose flour 
1 tsp baking soda 
1 tsp ground cinnamon 
1 tsp ground cloves 
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg 
1/2 tsp salt
 120 g softened butter 
300 g packed brown sugar 
1 egg, beaten 
125 g chopped walnuts 
120 g chopped apples 
150 g raisins 
100 g confectioners' sugar/powdered sugar 
1 tbsp milk 

Directions:
  1.  Preheat your oven to 350°F/180°C and line the cooking sheets with parchment papers.
  2.  In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, spices and salt.
  3.  In another bowl, add the butter and beat till fluffy and light.
  4.  Add the egg and sugar and mix till well combined.
  5.  Add the egg mixture into the flour mixture and mix till well combined. 
  6. Fold in the apples, raisins and walnuts. 
  7. With a teaspoon, place the mixture onto the prepared cookie sheets in a single layer about 1 1/2-inches/3 cm apart. 
  8. Cook everything in the oven for about 12-14 minutes.
  9.  Remove everything from the oven and keep aside on wire racks to cool completely. 
  10. Meanwhile for the glaze in a small bowl, mix together the remaining Ingredients: 
  11. Pour the glaze over the cookies and serve.
